Glenfiddich is one of the world’s biggest names in Scotch whisky and has been a family-run business since 1887. Their products have since become the most awarded whiskies in the world, including rare and vintage, special edition and experimental ranges.
tīmata has designed hundreds of creatives for the brand to use across the various establishments in which they feature, including POS materials, brand loyalty rewards and advertising. We have created numerous one-off promotions, brand activations and, working closely with the UAE team, to create events for trade and consumer clients. One of these was the GF Experiments for Glenfiddich’s Experimental Series.
To promote the launch of the Experimental Series we designed the GF Experiments events with the UAE team. This range of events was created to not only showcase and promote the products but to also spark the creativity of people who might sell, mix or drink the whisky. It started with the Experimental Bartender, where mixologists and bartenders from around the world competed to create something unique to their skills, using the new Glenfiddich series.
As the events evolved, chefs, artists and musicians were invited to work alongside the best bartenders to create experiential events for the industry experts and the general public alike. tīmata created a range of custom artwork that would hang around the walls of the event’s venue and would fit in unison with the branding of the product range. Each station at the events had its own artboard to help explain the activities and how it connects to the series.
The series was set around the idea of experimentation and then each event followed a specific theme of either bartenders, art, music or food. So, along with the artwork, the venue needed to be individually branded each time with new designs. This contained all forms of marketing and POS materials; including advertising, social media posts, invitations, venue guides, menus, etc.
Over the series, hundreds of people from around the region and throughout the UAE visited the various events, from leading B2B clients, malt societies and VIP’s.
